Meet Our Founder
John Reynolds
John Reynolds founded Airtronics in 1971 after spending years as an aerospace engineer and RC enthusiast. His frustration with the limitations and reliability issues of existing radio control systems led him to design his own solutions, which quickly gained recognition for their durability and precision.
"I started Airtronics because I believed RC enthusiasts deserved better equipment—systems that wouldn't fail during critical moments and would provide the precision control needed for complex maneuvers," John explains.
John's engineering background and passion for RC flying informed Airtronics' core values: innovation driven by real-world needs, uncompromising quality, and systems designed from the perspective of the user. These principles continue to guide the company today.
