Airtronics is operated by airtronics.net in Panama. This policy explains what happens to information when you read this site, follow a link, or contact us. For privacy requests, write to help@airtronics.net.

Reading the site

You can read our articles without an account. We do not run advertising, visitor analytics, a newsletter, comments, or signup forms. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies, sell personal information, or use it for targeted advertising.

Serving a web page still involves technical data. Our hosting and content delivery provider, bunny.net, receives details such as your IP address, the requested page, request time, and browser information. This information can be used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and investigate faults.

Our pages also load the AMP page software from Google's AMP content delivery service. Your browser sends the network information needed to request that software. If you read a cached copy through a search engine or another service, that service may process the visit under its own policy.

When you contact us

If you send an email, your email address, message, and any details you choose to include are processed to handle the request. Our email service provider may also process that information. Please send only what is needed. Do not send passwords, payment details, or identity documents unless a specific, justified request requires them.

We use correspondence to answer questions, handle privacy requests, correct errors, and protect the site. We do not add you to a mailing list because you contacted us.

Service providers and other websites

Hosting, delivery, security, and email providers may handle data for the purposes described here. We may also disclose information where a lawful obligation requires it or where necessary to protect rights and address abuse.

Product and resource links take you to other websites. Their owners set their own privacy rules. Clicking a link may tell the destination which site referred you. We do not control the information you provide to those sites or their cookies.

Where data is handled and how long it is kept

The operator is based in Panama, and service providers may process data in other countries. Applicable safeguards and legal requirements govern those transfers.

We keep correspondence only as long as needed to deal with its purpose, meet applicable obligations, or resolve a dispute. Technical records may be retained by service providers under their settings and retention policies. We do not promise immediate removal from provider logs or backups.

We use reasonable measures to protect information. No website or email service can guarantee complete security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to the use of, or receive a copy of your personal data. You may also be able to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Some requests have legal limits.

Send a request to help@airtronics.net and explain what you would like us to do. We may need enough information to verify that a request concerns your data. You may raise a concern with the relevant data protection authority. In Panama, that authority is ANTAI.

Editorial identity and AI assistance

Alex Mercer is an editorial pen name used by Airtronics. The author portrait is an illustration of that identity created with AI, not a photograph of an identified real person. AI tools assist with research, drafting, editing, and artwork.

First-person recommendations express editorial judgments. They do not claim personal ownership or hands-on testing unless an article explicitly describes documented testing. Product illustrations are labeled and should not be treated as exact product photographs.

Product links and possible future commissions

Our product links do not earn affiliate commissions at launch. We may use affiliate links in the future. If that changes, we will update this policy and place a clear disclosure where readers encounter those links. A future commission would not add a separate charge to the price you pay.

Changes to this policy

We will revise this page when the site's data practices change. The effective date above shows the current version. New services that need a choice or consent will be handled before those services are used.
